Ɗɘȵ Of Ʀuiȵƨ ~ 1

The Den of ruins is the place where the pack spends most of its time. Some ancient ruins of some buildings serve as a huge den, and great hiding in case of danger. The stench of human is long gone but human tools and artifacts are often found here. The surrounding area is a lush grassland, full of tropical plants home to New Zealand.



The prey here includes multitudes of small animals, including mice, hare, etc.

I stopped in a small alcove of rock, panting heavily. After weeks of travel we had finally come to our new home. Well, not our home yet. I sat down, not noticing I was sitting amongst the crumbled ruins of a city. I turned around, awaiting everyones arrival. "I think we need to explore and mark our boundaries" I stated to the small cluster of wolves who had accompanied me on my long journey.

I stretch my legs and walk up behind Fenris."Do we all get to come?"I ask,looking around.

"I'll be sending groups to different directions. But first, I'm starving I haven't eaten in days" I said, licking the top of her head.

She threw herself on the floor breathing heavily.-"No more !"-She said closing her eyes still breathing heavily.-

I couldn't help but grin, but it quickly faded. "The others had to stop and rest, they may not be here for a day or so" I said, standing back up to look at the rocks surrounding us. I noticed what it was and a low growl ripped through my throat and I backed up, my hackled raised. "This is a human town" I snarled. I caught no scent of humans, but it still unsettled me.

I sniffed the air."Humans..oh well,long gone."I said looking around.

-She got up and licked his cheek.-" Don't worry it's a protective area, no humans can kill even if they want to."-She sat don't breathing heavily with her tounge sticking out her mouth.-

I calmed down a little and stepped forward. I eased myself over a crumbled stone and into the ruins. I looked around and saw no life, nor any scent of humans. "I think this wold make a good den" I said seeing all the soft mosses growing on the stone ground. A mouse scurried under my paws but I quickly caught it in my grip, swallowing it whole.

I sniff again."Not much prey here,no trees."I said.I entered one of the soon to be dens and found a dead mouse.I picked it up,savoring the taste.

"Look up, plenty of trees and its just a den. I bet their are plenty of mice and hare." I corrected, noticing the huge roots of a tree growing over the new den. I jumped forward, landing with a thud on a larger mouse. "Here" I barked, tossing it to Corlissa.

She licked her muzzle and smiled real big.-"Thankies Hun." -She swallowed the big mouse hole.-

"Anytime" I laughed, sitting down. "It so different here. Not so green" I looked west and could almost smell the salty air. "We should explore soon." I suggested.

Se smelled as well and a huge smile grew on her face.-"The ocean !"-She got up and ran toward it.-
-To the Ocean place :D-

I titled my head and decided to follow. I rubbed against the new den, marking it as ours. I bounded off, howling to tell everyone that was the den and we would be back.

Cor ladders in and yaws yet again. She he walked into the den and smiled.-"It's pretty big in here." -She laid down and laid her head on her paws.-

I eventually found my way back looking around. I noticed the stream ran right behind the den, and after you leave the rocky part soft, lush grass grows. I padded in and sat down next to Cor, waiting for the others to get here.

She leaned her head on his neck.-"How long you think it would be until every come ?"

"I know they all got off the boat." I said, shuddering thinking of that horrid boat. "They stopped to rest, it really depends on how fast they come."

She nodded.-"It feels empty without everyone here."-She giggled.-

I nodded. "Yup, now I remember how I hated to be a loner, even with Koby"

I look around,choosing the den across from fen's.I walk over to Fenris."Healer.Im gonna be a healer."I tell him,smiling.

I nodded. "Thats great. You'll be old enough to train soon" I told her.

"Yay."I said."Wait...when is soon,a month,a few days,a year."I say circling.

"You should know how old you are, a few months" I laughed. "Although, if we get this new territory sorted out I might let you train before you are two" I told the yearling.
